All families returning to Mesquite ISD must complete returning student registration in Skyward Family Access. it must be completed in the parent's Skyward account - not the student's account.

This is an important step to verify your student's information and contact information for the upcoming school year.

Student schedules will be viewable in Skyward on Wednesday, August 5th at 5pm.

Returning student registration must be completed in order to see your student's schedule to be viewable.

All current Viking families are invited to our annual Walk the Schedule Night on Wednesday, August 5th 5:00 - 6:30pm

This is a come-and-go event where students can walk their schedule so they feel comfortable finding their classrooms when school begins.

Teachers will be in their rooms to greet students and answer any questions.

School staff will also be in the cafeteria to help with returning student registration, school supplies, dress code, and any other questions you may have.

Annual device fees have been added to each student's account for the upcoming school year. This is a single payment for the school year designed to cover the cost of your student's first accidental device damage.

The annual non-refundable device insurance fee is $20. For families with multiple students, the device insurance fee will not exceed $60.

We want to make sure you understand how this plan benefits your family by helping to manage potential repair or replacement costs.

 

If the device insurance fee is not paid by September 4, 2026, or a payment plan is not in place, students will be required to pay the full cost of device repairs and replacement in the event of damage, including for the first incident.
