STAAR Testing Dates

Below are the remaining STAAR testing dates:

04/16 - 8th grade science
04/23 - Math (all grades)

Please ensure your student arrives to school on time, in dress code, and with a fully charged chromebook and charger. This will help set your student up for success on their STAAR!
 

Career Fair Volunteers

We will be hosting a Career Day for 6th & 7th graders on Monday, May 4th. We are seeking professionals to volunteer as speakers or to have a booth for a fair!

Please see the attached flyer and share it with any person you think would be interested! For the volunteers, this would count as community outreach for their business or organization.

The flyer includes a QR code and clickable link for them to fill out a google form that will help us prepare for their visit that day.

2025-2026 Yearbook

The official Vanston Yearbook for 2025-2026 is now on sale!

Our yearbook staff has worked hard on this year's production - The Soundtrack of Our Year!

All sales are online through Balfour and are available on a first come, first served until we sell out
 

Summer School PE

Attached is a flyer for Summer School MS PE for students and families who are interested.

Key Details 
  • Registration will begin April 1st and close April 30th. 

  • Payment fee is $110 which is due before May 13th. They will pay through InTouch. 

  • The fee is waived for students in the RAP (dyslexia program).

  • Classes will be held at Wilkinson MS from June 2nd- June 17th starting at 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM. 

  • Students must attend all dates for credit.

  • Transportation is NOT provided.

 

North Parent Prep

NMHS is offering several "North Parent Prep" sessions to help you and your student transition to high school.

They would love to see you there!
