The new Texas law, Senate Bill 12, requires action for MISD parents! 

In accordance with the new Texas law, Senate Bill 12, Mesquite ISD is requesting written consent for your child to participate in clubs and organizations and receive school-based health and counseling services from qualified district personnel.

This legislation mandates that parents/guardians are fully informed and give permission for care and support.

The goal is to have 100% of students with the necessary forms completed. We are giving out PBIS points to every student for each completed form - giving students the chance to earn 3 PBIS points.

If you already completed the forms, your students will receive their PBIS points!

If you haven't completed the forms yet, please do so! Forms can be completed online through Skyward or through the paper copies of the forms that will come home with your student next week. Once the forms are completed, your student will receive their PBIS points!

Each grade level that gets ALL their forms completed, will earn the opportunity to have sit where they want in the cafeteria during lunches, instead of their regularly assigned tables.
