Our online spirit store is open to all Vanston families!

The store includes a variety of t-shirts and sweatshirts that are all within dress code to show your Viking spirit!

Orders must be place by September 5th and will be delivered to campus around September 22nd.

Device Insurance Fee

All students in MISD are provided a district-issued Chromebook to access necessary school-related digital resources needed for academic success.

An annual non-refundable insurance fee of $20 is charged to all students to cover the first accidental damage to the device with a max of $60 per family.

Payment is due by Friday, September 5th.

If the fee is not paid by September 5th, the family will be responsible for 100% of the repair or replacement costs, even for the first incident.

Paying this fee helps avoid unexpected expenses if a device is damaged.

The fee is already on your student's online InTouch account. Families can pay online or with cash in person.

For more info, view the Family Technology Handbook

Campus Late Work Policy

We have a new campus-wide late work procedure for all students in all classrooms this school year.

Late work will be accepted until the end of the progress report period for the highest grade of an 80.

This means that all assignments must be turned in during the three-week progress report window. Once the three-week progress report window closes, any unsubmitted assignments will not be accepted.

Students and families can monitor their grades and any missing assignments in Skyward.

Skyward - Progress Report 1

We encourage all students and families to view their student's grades in Skyward at least once a week.

This allows students to take ownership of their academic progress and to identify any missing assignments.

The first progress report window is coming up this Friday, August 29th.

With the new campus late work policy that requires all late work to be submitted within the progress report window, now would be a great time to log into Skyward to see if your student has any missing assignments to complete and turn in before the progress report window closes.
